Hey guys it is Abby from Twist Me Pretty. I’m a guest blogger here on CGH. And for today’s tutorial I’m going to be showing you one of my favorite ways to wear the pull thru braid and then also had to stack a few different hairstyles on top of that. So I hope you guys enjoy this post. Make sure to comment below to Hairstyles so you do not miss any future posts. And let’s get started. Pull your hair half up, making sure to leave out an inch or so just above the ears. Smooth out any bubbles, and tie off with a clear elastic or a hair tie. And then take a one inch section from right above your ear, those little pieces that we left out. Just do a regular three strand braid.

Pancake it so it is a little bit more full. And just drape it over the hair tie and secure it with a bobby pin. I get mine from Sally’s Beauty Supply and they are really, really tight. And then you are just going to repeat this on the other side. And now for the pull thru braid. So you are going to take the tail from your half up style, and you are gonna divide it into two sections, top and bottom. So that’s how we are gonna divide it. And then you are gonna take a clear elastic, and about two inches down you are just gonna tie it off. And then right above that elastic you are gonna create a little hole. And we are just going to be reaching our fingers through that hole and pulling the bottom section up and through. And then I like to hold that elastic and just kind of pull and tug on those little sections to make them look more full. But you can wait until the very end if you’d rather.
And then you are just going to repeat. So a couple of sections down, just tie it off with a clear elastic. Make a little hole in the center and pull the bottom section up and through. And then we are just going to repeat until you run out of hair. And one of my favorite ways to stack this hairstyle is to just put it in a little ponytail. I think it is so cute and just gives this hairstyle a fresh new look. The third stacked style is just throwing the tails up into a messy bun. So I like to bring them halfway through the elastic and then wrap the elastic band around one more time. And then I like to use bobby pins to just kind of fix those tails how I want them. But feel free to do whatever is easiest for you. I know everybody does their messy buns a little bit differently. And last but not least, I love throwing the tails into a side fishtail. So I just split the hair into two sections and then use your pull thru braid as a third and just do a regular three strand braid until it hits your shoulders. And then I just combine the pull thru braid with one of my sections and do a fishtail braid all the way down. Don’t forget to come over to my blog and comment. It’s Twist Me Pretty.
