Our bodies can’t make essential amino acids, so we need to get them from our diet.

2 Milk is a good source of calcium and it also contains potassium, which are both essential for healthy bones and teeth. Choosing fresh milk over sugary drinks is one of the best things you can do to help prevent tooth decay and cavities.

3 Drink a glass of fresh milk after a yoga or gym session to give your body what it lost during your workout – milk contains protein, carbs, calcium and electrolytes (which help muscles to recover), plus it also packs a rehydration punch.

4 If you’re feeling stressed, milk can help. Thanks to minerals like magnesium in milk, it can help to soothe muscles and calm nerves. Fresh milk also contains the amino acid tryptophan, which promotes sleep. A great reason to have a glass of warm milk after a long day at the office, or just before bed!
