Found Natural Love, Now What Am I Gonna Do With It?
There are so many products on the market that it is nearly impossible to try everything. To spare you the grief of researching and trying to understand product jargon: refine, reconstruct, renew, restorative, whatever! I have focused on the bare minimum, the tried and true essentials that will get you through the first year.
Your Survival Kit:
Denman Brush: the #1essential product because this brush detangles effortlessly.
Natural Boar Bristle Brush: Perfect for 3a – 4a hair texture, and can be used for smoothing puffs, and ponytails. This type of brush tends to pull and tear out my 4b hair.
A variety of combs: wide, medium and fine-tooth combs, a rat-tail comb used for sectioning hair, an Afro Pic.
Butterfly Clips: used for sectioning the hair and styling.
Vented Brush or Blow Drying Brush: used for drying the hair when needed. However, I use my Denman Brush often as a substitute
Plastic Shower Caps: used for deep conditioning and protecting hairstyles
Good Quality Barber Scissors: Used for trimming the hair every 2 to 3 months.
