Sadly, her time ended at 3:01 a.m. February 18, when she succumbed to complications from stage IV lung and brain cancer. The 55-year-old passed at a hospital in New York City, surrounded by family and friends, sister Janine Detore tells Us. The former pack-a-day smoker — known for her plump lips, size 36J chest and raspy voice — was diagnosed with thro surgery to remove a tumor. Though the disease spread, Raiola remained positive. Says Detore, “She didn’t want to live being on medicine. She said, ‘If it’s my time, just tell me.’” LATE REUNION In her final days, Raiola, who is survived by kids Raquel Donofrio, 31, and Anthony Donofrio, 27, and six grandchildren, reconciled with husband Neil Murphy, 43. He and Raiola split after her diagnosis because he “ never stepped up,” she told Dr. Mehmet Oz during a taped appearance on his show that aired two days before she died. But Detore tells Us Murphy was with Raiola at the end: “He was there.
