Baked Souffle Omelette Recipe
Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes You will need for 4 servings:
1 oz. butter 1 teaspoon made
1 oz. cornflour mustard
1 pint milk 4 eggs salt and pepper 4 tomatoes
1 oz. grated cheese
1 Make a sauce with the butter, cornflour and milk.
2 Add salt, pepper, grated cheese and mustard.
3 Add the egg yolks and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Turn into a 5-in. souffle dish or 11 pint pie dish.
4 Bake until set and lightly browned – about 20 minutes in a moderately hot oven (375°F – Gas Mark 5).
5 While the omelette is cooking – bake the tomatoes cut in halves and use to garnish the dish.
