BAYFIELD FORD LINCOLN

Proudly Canadian

For over 40 years Bayfield Ford Lincoln has been the premiere Ford dealership on Barrie’s Golden Mile serving the residents of Barrie, Innisfil, Thornton, Midhurst and OroMedonte.

As a full-service dealership, Bayfield offers new and used sales of vehicles, a service department, parts, and an on-site body shop a highly desirable asset that most dealerships don’t provide anymore. It’s a one stop shop for all your auto needs.

Established in 1981, the original owner was Mike Douglas until Angelo Vilardo took over as dealer principle and then invited Humberview Group in as a partner, approximately four years ago. The new partnership both transformed the company culture and renovated the dealership into the showplace it is today. The roomy showroom is large enough to display seven new vehicles, five Fords and two Lincolns, and the grounds carry 300 new vehicles and 60 used vehicles at any given time.

Recognized for its sales, service and customer satisfaction, Bayfield Ford

Lincoln has been the honoured recipient of 4 Diamond Club President’s Awards. Which has much to do with Humberview’s core values of honesty, integrity, transparency and teamwork.

A special program now at Bayfield Ford Lincoln that other dealerships in Barrie don’t offer is their Owner Advantage Program. Much like loyalty rewards cards you use at stores, when you purchase a new vehicle or come in for parts and service at Bayfield, your points add up for special perks and extra savings. Save up points and spend them on parts, accessories, oil changes, even winter tires.

Mr. Vilardo retired last August and Humberview Group assumed full ownership, welcoming Bayfield Ford Lincoln into its group of 29 dealerships and 17 brands. General Manager, Greg Warkentin was brought in for leadership. “Our goal is to serve our customers better each and every day,” says Warkentin. “We serve first and sell second. At the end of the day it’s all about the customer experience.”

Many long-term employees who have been with the company since its inception still remain. “We’ve got a great foundation of a team here,” says Warkentin. “85 full-time employees and with part-time added in, that number reaches upwards to 100. It’s a family oriented atmosphere. We don’t have a human resources department, we have a Director of People and Culture. We want to evolve and be much more than just a dealership. We want to be part of the community.”

In that vein, Bayfield Ford Lincoln has just made the notable commitment to become a co-house sponsor for Habitat for Humanity Huronia, pledging a whopping $250,000 in donations over the next five years to build five homes in the Barrie community.

In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Bayfield Ford Lincoln also released a distinctive red and black F150 Special Canada Edition with decals and gorgeous leather seats. “It was our one month June to July celebration,” says Warkentin. “We sold out of them all withina month. But we could do more, if there is a demand.”
