Saucy Beanoes
SERVES 4
4 large even-sized potatoes
Olive oil
Salt
400 g/14 oz/1 large can baked beans 20 ml/4 tsp brown table sauce 75 g/3 oz/ JVi cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Prepare and cook the potatoes as for Cheese and Herb Potatoes ( 243). Meanwhile, heat the beans in a saucepan. Spoon into the split and squeezed potatoes. Drizzle with the sauce, then top with the cheese. Flash under a hot grill (broiler) until melted and bubbling.
