Crisscross Ponytail Hairstyle

Hey guys I’m going to be showing you how to create a very pretty and romantic type of hairstyle it is perfect for when you want to have some curl in your hair but you do not necessarily want to have your hair down I’d like to learn how to create this kind of crisscross effect then stay tuned and I will show you exactly what you need to do. So for this super easy tutorial all we really need is a curling iron this is Enzo Milano one-inch curling Beryl we are also going to need some hairpins hairbrush to comb through the hair and at the end some hairspray to set the curls. So to create more drama in this hairstyle, I’m using my lucky hair extensions in 160 grams side.

So we are going to begin by brushing the hair like always before styling next we are going to start sectioning off the hair into large sections and curl away from the face I’m going to fast forward this section for the sake of the tutorial. So all you are doing is grabbing your curler and curling the hair starting from the mid section down and just curling away from your face okay. So once we are done curling all the hair we are going to gently separate the curls with our fingers just at the ends and if you want you can even use a brush to lightly go through the ends of the hair just separate the curls.

So once you have separated the curls you want to set them with hairspray I’m just going to bring all the hair back turn around grab my hair pins and show you guys what I’m talking about. So what we are doing is grabbing the front sections and then bring the hair to the other side and then we are going to grab your hair pin and just attach this to the head next we are going to do the same thing with the other side. So you just pick up this section and then bring it over to the next side and just crisscross this first section and again we are going to grab a hair pin and just attach this to the head.

So once you have the first two section in place you just want to continue doing the same exact thing. So we are going to grab the hair now from this side bring that over and crisscross it through the second section and grabbing a hair pin and just attaching it to the head and now again we are going to grab the section from the other side separate the hair crisscross it over the first the third section and just bring it over to the other side again grab a hair pin and just attach it to the head we are going to repeat the process. So I’m grabbing the section from the bottom at the nape of my neck just that section right there and bringing that over the top then grab a hairpin and again attach the section to the head now we are going to do the same thing over here and just grab the section of hair from the bottom at the nape of the neck and kind of bring it over the middle sections and attach it to the head okay.

So once you have criss crossed all of the sections this is the completed hairstyle from both sides and I will just turn around. So you can see the hairstyle again from the back. So really really simple and fast and really pretty and perfect for days when you want to have a feminine look of long hair but you do not necessarily want it to be sort of around your face and framing your face.
