Herbal teas are not as concentrated as tinctures, so you do not need to be as precise with dosage. On average, an adult dose is: 1 cup of herbal tea, 1-3 times a day. This dosage refers to the method of brewing described on post 22. However, sometimes I recommend a strong infusion, which means that you add an extra teaspoonful or two to the normal amount and brew it for 5-10 minutes longer than usual. Conversely, if a weak infusion is recommended use 1 teaspoonful of herbs and brew for 2-3 minutes only.

Adjusting the dosage to the situation
As with tinctures, the daily dosage depends on how severe your symptoms are. One cup a day constitutes a minimum dosage, and 3 cups a day is the usual maximum Occasionally the maximum dosage goes up to 4-5 cups a day; where this is the case it is clearly indicated in the text.
