Potato Pancakes Recipe

Cooking Time: about 20 minutes

You will need for 4 servings:

4 oz. mashed potato 1 teaspoon onion juice

1 oz. butter 1 pint pancake batter salt, pepper, nutmeg (37) 2 oz. finely chopped 1 pint cheese sauce ham (83)

1 teaspoon chopped parsley

1 Mix the potato with all the other ingredients (except the sauce) and beat well together.

2 Make the pancakes (34), spread with the filling and roll up.

3 Put into a fireproof dish, coat with the sauce and heat through in the oven or under the grill.

Toasted cheese special

Cooking Time: 10 minutes You will need for 4 servings:

4 slices bread

4 oz. Cheddar cheese, cut in four slices

4 eggs

1-2 tablespoons melted butter

1 packet onion sauce mix 1 pint milk black pepper

1 Toast the bread on one side.

2 Place a slice of cheese on each untoasted side of bread. Grill until the cheese has melted.

3 Meanwhile, fry the eggs in the butter.

4 Make up the onion sauce mix as directed on the packet using 1 pint milk. Place a fried egg on each slice of toast and pour the sauce over. Sprinkle with ground black pepper and serve.
