For more than a decade, The Way We Wore owner Doris Raymond has supplied inspiration to some ofthe world’s top designers (like John Galliano, Giorgio Armani and Alexander McQueen) and film-industry execs (such as the costume designers for Glee, Titanic, The Notebook and American Horror Story). Her L.A. emporium, which opened in 2004, includes a hugely successful retail boutique, as well as a design resource library that houses thousands of swatches, embellishments and embroideries.
