Spinach With Eggs And Noodles Recipe

Cooking Time: about 25 minutes

You will need for 4 servings:

8 oz. noodles 4 eggs

1 oz. butter

8 oz. cooked spinach or use 1 carton frozen spinach

1 pint cheese sauce (83)

1 tablespoon grated cheese

1 Cook the noodles in boiling salted water for

10 minutes. Drain and add the butter, then put into a shallow fireproof dish.

2 Spread the cooked spinach on top.

3 Make four nests in the spinach and break one egg in each. Season with salt and pepper.

4 Pour the sauce over the eggs, sprinkle with cheese and bake about 25 minutes in a moderate oven (350°F – Gas Mark 4).

Risotto

Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes

You will need for 4 servings: 1 medium-sized 1 oz. cooked onion, peeled and mushrooms, sliced chopped 2 oz. cooked ham,

2 oz. butter chopped

6 oz. Patna rice 1 small red pepper,

1 pint chicken stock blanched and

2 tablespoons chopped cooked green peas seasoning

1 Fry the onion in the butter until lightly browned.

2 Add the rice and mix well.

3 Add the stock, bring to boiling point, cover and cook until the rice is tender and most of the stock is absorbed.

4 Add all the other ingredients and continue cooking for about 5 minutes.
