Strawberry Honeycomb Recipe

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

You will need for 4 servings:

1 strawberry jelly J pint milk

2 eggs biscuits

1 Dissolve the jelly in I pint hot water.

2 Separate the yolks and whites of the eggs. Beat the yolks.

3 Warm the milk and pour on to the yolks, stirring.

4 Pour into a pan, previously rinsed in cold water, cook over a gentle heat until thick, stirring throughout.

Remove from heat and pour into a large bowl. Stir the jelly into the milk mixture.

Whisk the whites until stiff, lightly fold into the jelly.

Pour into a 1-J-pint mould and leave until set. Turn out on to a plate and serve with crisp biscuits.

Strawberry cream

No Cooking You will need for 4 servings: 1 strawberry jelly thick cream and about 1 pint milk strawberries, 1 egg optional

Dissolve the jelly in 1 pint hot water, leave to become cool.

Stir in enough milk to make up to 1 pint. Separate yolk and white of egg.

Beat yolk lightly in a large basin, pour on the jelly mixture, stirring well.

Whisk the egg white until stiff, fold into the jelly.

Pour into a mould, previously rinsed out in cold water.
