Cute Messy Braid Hairstyles

Hi everyone and welcome back to the hair blog my name is Ashley and today I’m going to show you how, I create one of my very intricate braids now, I often get a lot of comments asking how, I create really complicated braids and to be honest, I really just combined a bunch of simple braids together to create one big luscious braid. So if you want to see how, I create this intricate braid just keep reading before, I start this hairstyle I’m going to gently brush through my hair to ensure there are no knots and tangles for this tutorial, I’m wearing my 220 gram dirty blonde set for length and volume once done I’m going to grab a small section of hair at the front of my head and part that section into two smaller pieces this is going to be the beginning of a French fishtail braid a French fishtail braid is just like a Dutch fishtail braid but instead of wrapping the outer pieces under the section of hair you are going to cross these pieces over. So I’m going to take a piece of hair from the outer section pick up some more hair and cross it over to the opposite side and again grab a section of hair from the outside pick up some more hair and cross that over to the other side and I will repeat these steps till the braid reaches just above my ear once.

I’ve reached about ear level I’m going to switch my hands around and start braiding the hair towards the back of my head now this part may be a little tricky. So do not give up it took me a very long time to learn how to braid the back of my head and to be honest, I still need some more practice once the braid reaches the back of my head I’m then going to secure it with a hair tie and carefully fan out my braids for extra volume if you have a lot of short layers like myself you want to be very careful when fanning out your braids to ensure you do not pull apart all of your hard work once you have perfected this braid you are then I’m going to repeat the same steps on the opposite side of your head start with a small section of hair parted into two grab a piece of hair from the outer section pick up some more hair and then cross it over to the opposite side and again grab a section of hair from the outside pick up some more hair and cross it over to the other side repeat these steps to the braid reaches just above your ear carefully switch your hands to start braiding towards the back of your head and continue once your braid meets the other braid in the back of your head you can then tie this braid off and carefully fan it out once this is done I’m going to tie both braids together in the back of my head make a small hole above the two braids and loop the hair through this hole if you’d like you can always stop at this point but I’m going to take it a step further and braid the bottom section of my hair into a simple three strand braid once this braid is done I’m going to secure it with an elastic band gently fin it out for extra volume and then wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic band and secure it with a bobby pin and there you have it – French fishtail braids combined with a simple three strand braid for an effortless and voluminous braided hairstyle and there you have it simple right just a few braids wrap together one if you liked this post thumbs up and comment below and let me know what you think if you liked see more hair styles with me image let me know I’d love to hear from you guys have a good day bye a black and blue.
