How To Rope French Braid Hairstyles

Hey guys today’s tutorial is a very simple look it is actually going to be sort of a variation of a French braid a regular French braid in the back I will turn around in mid and I will show you what it looks like and it also looks like a rope braid but it kind of goes you know along the side of your head or like in the middle of your head. So here it is the look from the side and here’s what it looks like in the back really pretty really simple and takes two minutes to recreate great look for summer because for days like today when my hair is sort of a mess and it is really hot and humid. So there’s really no point styling your hair at all because it will just be ruined in a matter of hour.

So what, I like to do is create hairstyles like this that are perfect because you look put together your hair is away from your face you know away from your neck. So it is not hot and definitely looks very cute and original. So if you guys want to know how to recreate this look then stay tuned and I will show you exactly what you need to do.

So I’m going to start off by brushing my hair and of course we are just going to need an elastic band to secure the hair at the end and you can use a small one like this or you can also use just a regular elastic as well. So I’m going to start off by just brushing my hair back alright. So once your hair is all brushed backwards what we want to do is separate the front section of hair that we are going to start off with.

So just like this and then we are going to separate this section also into two parts. So once we got this section we are just going to divide it into two, I hope you can see what I’m doing and then what we are doing is we are just crossing one over the other okay like this and then we are going to do that one more time just like this okay make sure there’s no hair sticking out because you won’t be able to fix it after. So if there’s anything sticking out do it now.

So for me there’s a little bit of hair just like this right here. So fix it up before you go on and then you can pull on this a little bit to kind of balance it out all right now that you are happy with the front I’m going to turn around. So you guys can see what I’m doing okay.

So now that you have done you have twisted a hair twice all you are really gonna be doing throughout the rest of the hair just going down is adding hair from both sides onto two of these sections really really simple and easy. So we are going to start off by just using my finger and kind of adding a section of hair to this right here okay and then I’m going to go really really slow. So you guys can see what I’m doing.

So once you separate on the section you want to just fix it up with your fingers to make sure it is nothing sticking out and you want to kind of smooth it out smooth it out and then you add if you add it to this original section and then once you got that you are going to hold it tightly these two sections and then hold this one with the between your index and thumb finger and then we are going to just add do the same thing on the other side. So we are separating here from the front and adding it to the original section just like this again you want to kind of smooth it out and make sure there’s nothing sticking out and then once you have the two sections and they are nice and tight we are just going to kind of twist and put one over the other just like this okay and then basically this whole thing is adding hair and going all the way down. So again I’m going to go really slow.

So we are adding the hair by separating the piece of pair of the section of hair with your finger from the front smoothing it out just like this holding it tightly and then holding this section as well. So it doesn’t. So you do not lose it and then we are going to just add hair again from the other side and add it to the section okay and then again we are just going to hold them tight and just put one over the other.

So we are just twisting one over the other just like this and then we are just going to do exactly the same thing. So just adding a section of hair holding it tight well first we want to make sure it is nice and smooth. So like that then we want to hold it.

So now we want to add hair to this section like this then we are going to hold tight and just twist one over the other like this and then continue doing the same thing. So we are going to separate the section add it hold it tight separate the section like this and then hold it tight and then twist one over the other okay when you are getting is kind of like this rope effect which is really really pretty. So now that we get to the bottom of the section and you have just about this much hair left right of the nape of the neck what you want to do is separate that section into two all right and we are going to add one side to one section and hold it tight just like this make sure it is some tidy and then we are going to add the remaining here to the other side okay just kind of tighten it up tighten up all the hair like this and then once it is tight you just want to twist one on top of the other a few times like this.

So at this point you want to just grab an elastic band and secure the rest of the hair into a ponytail just like this. So once you have secured the hair at the nape of the neck with a an elastic band this is kind of what you are going to end up with really pretty kind of variation of a rope braid and a French braid kind of rolled into one really really pretty really like it it is very different and it is very simple. So you can leave it as is or if you do not want to be able to see the elastic band what we are going to do is just do the really simple trick of just taking a piece of hair and wrapping it around the base.

So we are just going to take a bobby pin and kind of just put it right underneath of the ponytail and that just hides hides everything right underneath of the base of the ponytail. So once you hide the elastic band with the hairband can you make like a hairband you are finished this is the complete look um like you saw it only takes like a minute or two to create and once you get the hang of it it’ll probably take even less time again this look is definitely doable for most hair lights, I would say shoulder length and longer would work um you know the best.
